BLESSING OF THE GRADUATES

Most Reverend David John Walkowiak

Blessed are you, Lord our God, for you begin all things and bring them to conclusion. At the dawn of creation you created all things and placed this earth under our care; you sent your Son Jesus to be the way, the truth, and the life; and through the gift of the Holy Spirit you guide our way to the glory of your Kingdom. We praise you for our graduates whom you have guided to this proud moment. As we celebrate their graduation, we ask you to continue your gracious guidance in their lives. Open new doors and lead them to marvel at the wonders of creation and life. May your Spirit help them to see their many gifts, and teach them how to share these in your Church and for the benefit of others. Continue to bless them, this day and always, and grant that we may ever rejoice with them in your gift of love.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.   Amen.
